iChat Matte is an installer that replaces the default iChat aqua discussion bubbles with more subtle matte ones. It matches more subtle GUI styles like UNO.
Note that when you first receive an instant message with the default installation of iChat, in the "accept message" window, there will be a white background on the bubble. I left them with white backgrounds so that I could leave the original graphics inside each file. This will be fixed soon, but in the meantime I really suggest using Chax to turn off those silly "accept message" windows.
